If you are part of a small, medium, or large network, odds are that you will share files with other users. New files are copied, files are created, modified and deleted. To keep track of these files, users go into that shared folder every time they need to verify files. Have you ever wondered if there is an easier way to do this?
LAN Viewer searches and updates automatically your shared files, looking for new, modified or changed anyway ones. LAN Viewer can be setup to enter several shared locations, and once is updated, a pop-up window or an e-mail will be sent letting you know what has changed.
LAN Viewer gives you the option to make an offline copy to a local resource, and synchronize every X amount of time, so you can even access updated files when you are offline. LAN Viewer can also be setup to notify only for a specified type of file, in the case you're only interested in .XLS files, or .JPG files, or any format you define.
LAN Viewer saves time and it's a great way to keep a local, offline backup of your shared resources. LAN Viewer can also perform very useful searches within all configured shared resources, with many options to find that file, and even copying it to a local resource on sight.
The tasks list that you configure for LAN Viewer can be Imported / Exported, so configuring in other computers or after formatting is easy and painless.
